During this first term, our 16-year-olds have been working on Fairy Tales. They filled in this grid to decide on a the fairy tale of their choice and the school they wanted to go to. Their task has consisted on editing and adapting an original classic Fairy Tale to their audience, 6th grades from our neighbouring primary schools. The tales could be chosen from these two links: Fairy Tales for Kids or World of Tales They also check pronunciation from video links. The debates were assessed using these rubrics; once by a classmate, then by the Primary School teacher, and eventually by their teacher, getting, thus, three perspectives of their work. The outcome can be seen on the right. When preparing their tales, they can watch previous editions here. |
