FIRST ATTEMPT. CHECK-IN
 

FIRST E-CONFERENCE
 We're going to start our first econference with Germany. The plan is as follows.
Students from both countries work on the same topic: Criminal Age of Responsability. Suggested ideas on this link.
We had debates in groups around that topic, of which some can be seen here.
The debates were assessed using these rubrics; twice by classmates and eventually by their teacher, getting, thus, three perspectives of their work.
Our partners do the same and we set a date for an econference to put in common our conclusions.
Below is an ISSUU summary of the 1st econference and some recordings.
SECOND E-CONFERENCE

Our challenge for this third and last term is Social Networking, being the leadership taken by our German partners. We're going for it. The movie segment in The Social Network (You don't get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies) together with the documentary The Deep Web will be our starting point. Very recently this CBSN report came to our hands, very enlightening, How Google and Facebook keep tabs on you. We'll follow the same procedure. Let's see how it turns out. Group conclusions outcome on both documents. Fill in one of the questions on this document to organise participation on the econf. Below is our debates outcome.

THIRD E-CONFERENCE 
We still had time for a conference with our new partner, Smøla Ungdomsskole. Great motivation input for our 3rd graders.

FOURTH E-CONFERENCE
We have this year a new sucject, Oral competence in English, aged 14. We have found partners in Hegau Gymnasium, same age and timetable.

We've made this presentation on Alicante and Spain for all our partners.

YEAR 2018/19
3rd ESO
We have started with two econferences with our 3rd graders and Smøla Ungdomsskole. Below is a summary of them.



We also held two econferences with Hegau-Gymnasium, the last one on Breaking Stereotypes, with this presentation guiding it.

2nd Bach
With our school-leavers we had a interesting debate on SPORT. Simple as it may seem, it is not so. A topic which turned very deep when dealing with ideas such as the values of sport, especially after watching the movie Invictus, which show the force of sport to put together a whole nation. Skype in the classroom

 This year's main aim is to enhance in the classroom the resources Skype provides for enhancing Oral Competence with speakers from all over the world. We have joined in the Microsoft Educator Community to do so. Let's see what awaits us!!!
